Description I'm running out of things to say. ._. Took this near the Grain Mill. It was interesting to see people walking by and casting curious but sincerely innocent looks since I was so paranoid at first that people walking would by would be not-so friendly.

The boyfriend ended up getting a good behind the scene shot of this for anyone interested: [link]
Enjoy.

I don't want to say necessarily that I made this since I didn't make any of this stuff from scratch. But I did modify a lot of it. If you're interested on seeing what I've done to this you can either visit my Work In Progress gallery here: [link]

Or you can see what recent progress I have made on the cowl in my journal here: [link]

I love it! Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman is the best one, and your outfit is full of win!

Holy shit!!! I'm sure you know this but this is freaking awesome. Perfect. Still wish this catwoman was the one used in dark knight rises. Wow, fantastic. How long did it take you to make this?

Why thank you! That means an awful lot to me!

I couldn't really give you an accurate estimate but overall I guess everything that I've done so far has at least taken four days. So not very long in comparison to other people.

I'm not very good with a needle and thread so a lot of this costume I ended up purchasing and then modifying where I needed to. I do still need to do some things to this but it'll have to wait until I have the funds again.

Your welcome! you need to get your man to be batman and do some really awesome photos. It'd be the coolest thing on DA easily.

Wait, there's mroe you want to do still? What more could you want to do? It looks perfect. honestly. oh, excuse me, I should have said it looks purrfect. heh heh.

What did you make the costume for btw? just to be bad ass or for halloween, con, etc?

There's only a couple of things that need to be changed but nothing too big. I would like to get a more accurate corset since the one I'm wearing in the picture is not very flattering and bulges and also I am looking into getting a bigger whip. Other than that the only other thing I can think of is I need to buy another mask since my modifying sort of ruined it by cutting the eye holes too big. [You can see my hair.] Also someday I would like to get a better catsuit, since PVC doesn't breathe and I spend a majority of my time trying not to overheat in it. The suit itself traps heat in and doesn't really let any of it out.

Unfortunately I didn't even get to wear this bad boy to Halloween, although at first I had plans to and then I just ended up staying at home. But initially this was intended for con-going mostly and photo shoots.

I would have never noticed that eye cuts if you hadn't told me. And I am sure it is fuming hot in there. what can you do other than PVC though? Wanna hear something gross, in the first batman, the suit was so hot and not breathable that when he took off his boots, there were puddles of sweat in them.

Yeah, I hear ya, this halloween was a bust, I didn't do anything either. I wanted to but it was a strange day. meh. oh well. Which con were you going to wear it to?

And it was worth it for the photoshoot. BTW, I don't mean to be too forward, but you have a perfect figure for this costume. I don't want to deter people from wanting to dress as who ever they wish to but some costume rely more on a person's figure than others. some costumes can hide a mismatched figure better than others. All I'm trying to say is that you're the perfect catwoman.

There's leather, which supposedly breathes better than PVC does or pleather. Though I can't really say from experience that this might actually be true or not since they are far more expensive considering the material they're made out of. I can believe the puddles of sweat though, although the costumes look nice it's the mixture of a rubber cowl on your head trapping in heat and being completely covered in non-breathable garments that unfortunately all that sweat has one place to go and that's usually down at your feet. I only go to one con a year and that's always Anime Detour, since I don't travel very well since it's close by.

I can't tell you how much your words mean to me. Like many cosplayers I am my own worst critic and when I look at the photos of course I can only see the things that are wrong with them. I know they're good, but at the same time you're always thinking 'I could do better, this or that isn't right. Why didn't I do this?' And right now my biggest criticism inwardly has been 'you're too many sizes too big to be wearing that and people know it.' Unfortunately I'm not as skinny as I used to be, and I spot these in the pictures. It means a lot to know that you think that I do a good job. It keeps me doing what I'm doing.

How hot is it where you live? I live in california, It didn't get cold until this week. So, if you're in cali too, then you run a chance of heatstroke. ha ha. you can be in your chonies in cali and risk heatstroke. ha ha. This place is way too hot.

No way, I didn't notice you being a size too large at all. I think you do the same as me, there might be a very thin layer on you that isn't lean muscle and you beat yourself up over it. But I can understand wanting to get healthy again. I'm actually adjusting my lifestyle right now, I realize I've been unhealthy. We could go at it together. funner that way.

So, curious, what do you look like outside of your costume? Again, don't mean to be too forward, that's not too forward is it?

Hmm. I don't have any recent pictures of myself at the moment but when I do take one I'll be sure to notify you.
