Twilight let out a heavy sigh in her helmet. "Why I haven't thought about all this first." Suddenly, a audio signal came from her helmet.
"T...T....twi... twilight? C...can you..... can you hear me?" the voice was calling, full of static.
"Huh? Pinkie Pie?" respond the purple pony.
"Phew! She can hear me!" she screamed away from her microphone, a roar of cheer and applause following. "Twilight! Are you okay?" she asked, worried.
"Yes. I'm fine." she replied flatly.
"What's the matter? Are you excited to be in space?" Pinkie asked her.
"Yeah." she replied flatly.
"Then, what's wrong? Do you have any idea how Dash is jealous of you right now? She kept mumbling "It should have been me... I'm the best flier so the best astropony..." the pink mare continued.
"Well, tell her that..."
"She can hear you. In fact they all can!" Pinkie cut her. Another roar of applause came soon.
"Uh... H-how many?" she asked, a slight worry.
"Oh. All Equestria, silly. We are on radio!" Twilight froze. "Can you imagine that? All Equestria can hear us all and...." she said before gasping "I invite you all for the Super Dupest Party in honor or Twilight's success!!!" she screamed online. The crowd behind her cheered loudly.
"Uh, P-pinkie?"
"Yes, Twilight?"
"There... might be a... little problem here..." she sheepishly told her.
"Huh? What is it?"
"Oh. Nothing. Just one single detail."
"Uh... What is..." Pinkie began before Twilight hear two ponies fighting for the microphone.
"Twilight! Can you hear me?" Rainbow Dash shouted in the microphone she stole from Pinkie's hooves.
"Rainbow Dash?" she asked.
"I'm the next pony who will go in space, you hear me?" she kept shouting in the micro.
"Yes, Rainbow. You will the next one."
"Why they send a egghead in the first place?" she continued, irritated.
"You didn't even know how to use the computer on board, remember? And I'm not a eggh-"
"Yeah, yeah. I'm going to nail it and I'll get there faster than you!" she cut her.
"Huh? You want to race for..."
"Yeah!" she cut her.
"Oh yeah? Tell me Dash, would you have survived the explosion of the entire rocket once out of the atmosphere?"
"Uh... what?"
"And all thanks to you shield... wait, you can't make one! And now you would be floating out there alone in space figuring a way to get back on Earth!" she yelled back.
"Uh... Wait! Is that what you're in now?"
"Guess, brainiac."
"Uh... Here Pinkie" Dash told her pink friend before leaving.
"Rainbow? Rainbow? Are you here?"
"I'm here Twilight." Pinkie respond.
"Where's Rainbow?" Twilight asked her.
"Um. She left with her tail between her legs. So, uh... You're alone in space right now, huh?" Pinkie asked with discomfort.
"Wait a minute, Pinkie. Rainbow Dash! Rainbow! Can you hear me?" the purple mare shouted in her microphone. "You will be next one in line! I promise! And I'm make sure it won't explode this time! And the next one in the future. So, please... I need your h-"
"Twilight!" Rainbow shouted in the microphone.
"Hey!" Pinkie shouted too.
"I'll make sure you will get back here Twi! Do you hear me? I promise! Hang on!" she shouted in the microphone.
"What are going to do, huh? Fly on the border to the atmosphere with a Sonic Rainboom and... Oh no!" Twilight cut herself too late. Rainbow's eyes were shining.
"Hang on! I'm coming!" the blue pegasus shouted before flying out of the room.
"DASH? DASH!!!! DON'T YOU DARE DO THIS!!! THIS IS SUICIDE YOU HEAR ME?! COME BACK HERE THIS INSTANT!!!! COME BACK YOU..... YOU"..."
"She's gone, Twilight."
"Oh no..."

Three weeks later at the launching pod, Twilight was giving instructions to the future astropony Rainbow Dash.
"Then, you push this button and...."
"Yeah, yeah. I got it." she cut her off.
"Rainbow! This is very important! You need to know how to use the chutes to land safely." she told her with a serious tone.
"No need. I'll just fly off that iron box and..."
"The heat will burn you into a crisp if you do that! Both of you!" Twilight said with a stern.
"Oh." Dash only replied. "So..."
"What?" the purple mare asked back.
"How is it feel the ground under your hooves after my heroic save?" she asked her friend, with a grin. Twilight remained stoic. "What?"
"That was the dumbest thing you ever done."
"And it worked."
"Yes. Because I used my magic to shield us from the heat of entering the atmosphere." she replied with a smooth but irritated tone.
"You're welcome." simply said Dash. Twilight gave her her helmet. "Thanks."
"Tell me Rainbow. Why you want so bad to go in space when you can fly everywhere in the world?"
"That's the reason, Twilight. I can. And it bores me. I wanted to go beyond my limit before I'm too old. So, the space calls me."
"Wow! I never thought hearing that from you."
"Yeah. I've grown up." she said with a smile.
"I mean, remember that you will be too old one day..." she replied with a grin.
"Shut up." she said back.
"To be honest, that's a excellent reason. Just... Be careful out there Dash, okay? I won't be here to protect you with my magic this time." she told with with a concerned tone.
"I know and I will. Thanks Twilight." A guard of the space team called her. "Okay! I'm coming. I guess, it's a goodbye then." she said with small smile.
"We'll be talking on the microphone. But before everypony hear us, I wanted to tell you something... "

Everyone in Equestria were on the border of their seats while listening to the broadcast of the launch. Meanwhile the blue pegasus with her orange assistant were ready for their biggest adventure. And when everyone was listening to the countdown, Rainbow mentally reheard what her friend told her personally "If it does actually explode again, count me in to bring you back home. At all cost!" with a widened smile.
