bro, people use models and reference photos as a base for their work all the time. fucking get use to it. Even if this did take five minutes (highly doubtful) it's still a pretty legit piece of artwork. Quit hating. And something else, don't use the term jarhead unless you have earned that right. USMC-Cloudboy and Rannamann are right though. Him carrying an M4 is not a problem. We don't normally do jumps with an M16. Too much to carry already with a full jump load. We use the M4

Wow motivator. The term "Service Rifle" only applies to - guess what? RIFLES. And the M-4 is not a rifle. It is a carbine. Collapsible stock, shorter barrel - lighter weight - carbine. The M16 is called the "M16 A-2(or 4) Service Rifle" for a reason. Re-read your knowledge, bro. No offense - just correcting.
