It's too bad Joe Mad is such a lazy bastard. I loved Battle Chasers. And Monika. Mostly Monika. This drawing does her justice. Nice colors.

mind if i ask how u do that? i've been trying to colour under my pencils but can never seem to get it right,

I make the line art the top layer (I use layers in this case), a flats layer (bottom layer), and then a highlight/shadow layer inbetween the two. Set your Lineart layer to multiply, and the other two to normal. I usually wait to create the middle layer, until after I'm done with the flats. I use the lasso tool, and fill the most. It just takes practice is all.

No worries - some color above, some below - all depends on the effects/outcome that you are looking for. Sometimes for the special effects, I'll create another layer above the line art, for glows, and such.

ahh, i've had some probs with the pencil art layer in multiply, do u go in and use the eraser tool to touch up? or is there a faster whay u can eliminate all those smudges and unwanted marks that show up when u set to munltiply?

I try to clean up the scan, prior to setting up the layers - I normally either just take the pencil tool, set to white and do this, or again, use the lasso tool with a white fill. But the VERY first thing I do, is adjust the image using levels, while still in grey scale mode - which is what I scan ALL my b/w artwork in as, at 300dpi.

finally got some time to practice my colouring. just out of curiosity do you use a particular opacity for brushing ure flat colours or do u just wing it?
