and I were talkin back and forth this morning about stuff...you know, typical guy stuff - he called me a whiney fugger, I told him he was full of...cornbread...and so forth, when ole enstien over there came up with this "brilliant" plan for a new pin-up....I told him to go blow cheese, but apparently he didn't listen....how unusual....so to shut him up, I drew this fan art of RED5's Atomic Robo....those of you not reading this book, should lower your head in shame. seriously.One of the best creative teams out there at the moment. That, and they are fellow "studio mates", and that is how I roll - I pimp those around me, and these guys are certainly well deserving of being pimped. Great story, humor, and artwork....and RED5 is one of THE best companies out there to work for....

I have been finding scanned up stuff online, and I have LOVED every bit of it, so I am going to go buy the series when I have the chance! Thanks for your opinion btw! It helps to get others opinions on things for me when making a decision.

I have the first issue of this comic on my PSP. At first Atomic Robo seems typical to me but after download this free issue from PSN on my PSP and read it it's awesome. Btw great sketch!

I was going to start getting this book but after listening to the podcasts,I dont know, the artist just rubs me the wrong way. Might still pick it up though, i love hellboy and this is very similer.

I've never met the artist in person, so I can not speak of his persona - but I can say, sometimes we (artists) are not always ourselves, and that I have been in a mood, and have rubbed people the wrong way aswell, where I am typically a very approachable, likeable (at least I like to think so) kind of guy....sarcastic as hell, but nice, none-the-less.
I do know that the artwork itself is fun, and the stories are quite funny.

I really like your use of line, I can never vary mine enough! There really is a fantastic sense of volume even though there's little shading. Well done.
