click on the download button to retrieve the high res pencils for all you aspiring inkers (new and old), or for those of you that prefer to color directly over pencils - this is for you.Credit for the lines is all I ever ask - and a note, or link to your version is always nice to see as well. You have my permission to upload your take on this piece....however - I do ask that you do not, repeat do NOT sell prints of your version....that is highly disrespectful to me, since you are making a profit from something that you did not create.
I have no problem lending my art for you to practice, whatever you choose to do to it.....dont dis me, and I in turn will not dis you......simple thing really.

like the details in the hair and cape
i was wondering:
when you draw do you ever care or think about how the artist will color it
or maybe how it will look as a final or do you just do the task at hand???
i always wonder about this and i wanted to know if a penciler ever thinks about how the final will turn out

I try to leave it open, to get freedom to both the inker and colorist - sometimes I think about the final product, but mostly, its just about the "moment"

i recently felt like if you were thinking too much about the coloring and how to make it easy to color then you might be restricting yourself and making your art not as fun as it could be
and i think that one reason it'd better to have pencilers inkers and colorers all seperate is because they are more about what they are doing instead of what they are going to have to do
