Description
CardSharks are a series species featuring magical shark-looking animals with some rabbitish features that you can adopt. The higher the card number, the more extravagant the traits become!Β Also open for anyone to make~
========================================================
Here is the other half of this reference, after you're done reading this one..!
========================================================
"A reference for the organization and relevance of out cards. TheΒ system isn't particularly complicated, but it is consistent, so it's important to have a small guide on what to expect."
"Some other cards from different creators might have different organizations, but what is documented here is the format for our series of cards."
"There's a loooot of reading in this one though. You can definitely tell who was the major contributor to this one."
"Well excuse me for wanting to try and give an accurate picture...!"
"However, if you are confused, or just curious, feel free to ask any questions you have and I will get to you when I can."
"And don't forget to check out the reference about the actual sharks when you get a chance~ "
============================================================
And here's teh reference for teh cards and suits and stuff since that's pretty important to the species. Still 20 numbered cards though, because that gives me a lot of design leeway to work with hehe
But, if you have any questions, feel free to ask..!

Are Aces considered '1's or do they act as trump cards? I mean, are they the weakest or the strongest?

I get that the 2 - 20 is supposed to be themes for if you make a Card Shark of that rank but I just want to know if there's any particular theme if I wanted to make a Shark that's the Joker or Ace suit? Or can we just not make those?Β

Don't worry, you can make those if you want.Β
They do have themes, they're just a ~mystery~ for now...!
you'll just have to make your best bet as to what they are..!

Ooohh mysteries~ Guess I'll just have to impress you! xD
So would the mystery onesΒ be able to have more than one element?
And does it matter how many element marks they have since they don't have a number rank?

RaoKurai In reply to NexiGalaxi [2018-07-18 18:02:41 +0000 UTC]
Nah they all have just 1 element, always (it keeps that part simpler at least haha)
Face card cardsharks have just 1 suit mark that represents 20 and up (except for the aces, which has a special design just for a rank of '1' haha)
look at these for an idea of what the 20+ suit looks like: Diamond - Ring

Alright, that's definitely fair and keeps things simpler xD
And alright, thanks for answering my questions!
I'll definitely be stalking out Card Sharks you've made to make sure I'm doing it right c;

grykiz In reply to RaoKurai [2018-04-30 04:31:07 +0000 UTC]
yeah. those ones. what do they mean?

RaoKurai In reply to grykiz [2018-05-01 01:15:26 +0000 UTC]
those are basically theme categorizes amidst a range of card numbers
Cards numbered 6 through 10, for example, would be based on food; 11 through 15 based on animals, etc
(and i mean numbered as in 'Six of Diamonds', 'Eleven of Spades', and so on)

you're free to make you're own if you'd like (you can use the Custom Card Template here)
but if you want me to make one for you, it will run you about $40/4000 points.

If we make one can we use any characteristics or are there specific ones we have to go by?

RaoKurai In reply to Asuhrua [2018-04-14 15:24:01 +0000 UTC]
You can use any characteristics, as long as you follow the general guidelines laid out in this referenced, and also this one if you haven't seen it.
