ive been using a wide angle for the past few years same lense just about all of them
40mm close to the same as a 28mm on a 35mm

Thanks for the info! So far I only have the standard lense that came with the EOS300D body, and while it's not too bad, it ain't really good either. And I want to buy a new one soon, but I'm simply not sure yet what to buy, so I look a bit around on dA and ask all photographers whose work I like what they use, to get an idea.
