Stunning piece, quite literally.
I was in the middle of a conversation with my specialone when I brought this up the first time and it took my attention so completely that it upset her.
I couldn't put my finger on what the statement was that your wife was making (my interpretation of, anyway) to you and the camera. I had my specialone pose similarly (which made her even happier, ayup) and I could only acknowledge that it had a very strong effect on me and made a very strong statement, but I couldn't quite identify it.
Looking at it again today, I am coming to the conclusion that it's a mix of a playful "I'm hiding, but" and serious "I'm yours." This strikes me as being meant here in a vanilla sense, although there are D/s hints in the lines of her body.
Beautifully done. . . whether this makes any sense or not, know that the work is greatly enjoyed.

we have most of the wallpaper off the walls
its an old house with plaster walls and they had like a million layers of paint on the wall paper plus the ceiling was wallpapered
theres only some left on the ceiling
i think we ll shoot in it before we paint it
