Thanks! Yeah, at the time Vista was getting angry at my raw files, so i decided to shoot jpeg. Now that I have the newest nikon codec for Vista to read the raw files, i regret that decision... could have done a bit of tonemapping and pulled out some shadow details... thanks again!

Agh I hate technical problems always ruining perfect photos I avoid Vista like the plague! haha And you're very welcome, it's a cool shot!

Yeah, I don't like vista too much either... but it's not my comp my parents' and since it's a powerful comp, vista doesn't slow it down enough to annoy them, and they don't have any compatability issues with the software they use. Personally i'm finding it decent for most of what i've done on it. And i'm quite impressed by the fact that it can read my Nikon raw files...

Oh my parents' laptops w/ Vista have had every problem you can imagine (and I've been called in to fix each), I've sworn never to use it! haha and yea, I just got the plugins so photoshop on my wimpy laptop's XP can pull that off
