Did you know that, in a way, it is? Β It's an Orica card, but technically it's real.

Sort of. ^^
For some reason they changed the original design on it though.
That is the orica card:

Joey certainly would like it to be real so he could rub it in Seto's face. XD

If they had gone ahead and made a card to rival the blue-eyes ultimate this would have been the design. It is very similar to the Kazuki Takahashi style.

a cool effect for this crad would be:
you can special summon this card from the extra deck by sacrificing red eyes darkness dragon plus cards that total level add up to 11, the turn you summon this way your opponent cannot activate trap or spell cards and you cannot attack.

Now this one deserves a review.
Well, I see you like Red-eyes, and so do I, but I'm not sure an Ultimate Red-eyes is a solution to show what the archetype stands for. It is said while Blue-eyes stands for power, Red-eyes invokes potential, that's why the two follow different routes. I only hate it how the modern Red-eyes evolution made the dragon look darker and more sinister than it was meant to be.
Also, does Red eyes B. Chick count as material? Because it's OCG name does not include it in the archetype aside from it's support, and all other Red-eyes support cards mention "except Red-eyes B. Chick" in their texts.

Thank you! I was really hoping someone would bring the "potential VS victory" up - otherwise I would make it sound positively caustic. Red-Eyes gains power from other monsters - reviving/summoning them, fusing with them, metamorphosing into them (back when it was legal) and so forth. It can even hit for a direct 2400, effectively, something that BEWD wishes it could do with its 3000 ATK. Yet...people insist on making a Red-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Call yourself a fan? Then pay attention to the canon.
That said, this is one of the better REUD's I've seen. There are no less than five floating around out there, and the concept is so popular that someone I know actually thought REUD was a real card.

I was thinking on cardmaking a card for the Red-eyes archetype that would bring up the Red-eyes issue. While not perfected yet, this is what I came up with so far:
Alpha Red-eyes B. Dragon (Xyz/ DARK/ rank 7/ Dragon-type/ ATK: 2400/ DEF: 2000)- 2 level 7 monsters
- Once per turn, if a "Red-eyes B. Dragon" is attached to this card as Xyz material: you can detach it and Special summon it to your side of the field (without sending it to the Graveyard); summoned in this way, it gains 800 ATK until the End phase; destroy it during the End phase. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card to target 1 "Red-eyes B. Dragon" in your Graveyard: attach the target to this card.
