Description Viking raiders wreaking havoc on Christian land...

When it comes to personal works I try to refrain from adding textures and all those fancy stuff. I just wanted the more traditional approach like I used to do.

I created my facebook art page JUST NOW because I noticed more and more people are following me on my personal account which is appreciated of course. So here is a place where I'll be posting more of my new stuff soon. If you have some time go over there and 'Like' that'd be appreciated. There's not much in there for now but it'll be active soon when I have more new works to show. www.facebook.com/raph04art/

Nice art, I actually needed to find a picture like this. I do world of darkness games and in an upcoming one a group of werewolves and vampires who subscribe to the Odinist faith are going to start a war in York so they can take revenge on the Christians. The whole thing is actually being orchestrated by the setites so their high preist can become the new prince with the backing of the werewolves and Odinist vampires. This really captures the chaos of a viking raid.

I'm descended from Norwegian roots on my dad's side and British ones on my mom's side, so I imagine it would be a bit awkward if my ancestors met

I agree I use it a lot when I'm working on my freelance projects they really do come in handy. But I'm also a trad painter so as much as possible when I'm working on these I try to preserve my original method. In fact I have never laid my hands on a brush and a canvas for half a year now so this is the closest thing at least
