I would have made Goldduck a bit more aquatic. More like a Penguin or Puffin than the Dinosaur-inspired design here you went for here. But it is well crafted and you have a great eye for lighting over feathers.

In one Pokemon episode, Ash and his -idiot- Golduck visited a beach. He saw signs that the estupido thing was about to evolve. Soon he saw a psyduck: athletic, likes the ladies, sexy, good-looking. He was quite glad for his golduck.
Until...
It turned out that the psyduck was one who had been hanging around that beach showing off for the ladies. His own golduck was merely off somewhere goofing about. To my knowledge it never evolved, unlike a few set characters.
It was one of the disappointments that caused me to just walk away from the show. That and Ash being a clot. Ash Brainoutolunch Ketchum.

That actually sounds funny. If it actually had evolved, it wouldn't be funny at all. It would just be "Okay now this pokemon is cool and better at fighting" which is just kind of whatever.
