Dallas, TX

Transfering .tiff files to the printer almost for the whole night,
mild headache from the morning, unbreathable heavy air outside,
tornado watch number 124 issued for Dallas...
I really didn't feel like attending a concert in the evening.

After the Higon's "Blue Cathedral" and Brahms' "Song of Destiny" performed in the first part,
I thought I would probably end up in a horrible state. Phew! Finally the intermission!
Honestly, I have never felt classical music so painful. I wasn't sure what to do next:
coming back for the second part of the concert or coming back home.
I stayed. First sounds of Orff's "O Fortuna" changed my life.
Perhaps the same way the discovery of poems that inspired "Carmina Burana" changed the life of Carl Orff.

I took this self-portrait at the intermission.
I found the same elevator I usually play with
while being at the Symphony.
I had a good time exploring the elevator's reflecting surfaces.
I think I found a sister, too...
