Striking. Is it just me or is there something extremely alluring about cat's eyes?? The detail is immaculate

Wow...this is amazing. I have to FAV this because I love to draw as well, but have never attempted to draw a cat (I've got three), but I just am not sure if I want to attack FUR...so, I admire your diligence! Nice work!

yes A3 would be awesome.. scanners are great sometimes photos muck up the drawing.. but on my bigger stuff i have to photograph... thanks for your comments!

You're welcome Yeah, using a cam sucks! Especially when you're taking a photo of a pencil drawing, the light reflects in the dark areas and the whole image shines...

i know.. the whole graphite glare thing.. most annoying!!

And the image always out of focus... Besides, all my works are A3, and it's so difficult to find an A3 scanner, so I always have to use a cam...

That cat looks so real!!! how do you keep the paper white stuff like the hair in the ears and the whiskers so clean?

rasberry6 In reply to invisible-virtuoso [2009-06-22 00:48:06 +0000 UTC]
i guard my finished parts of the drawing by placing a piece of paper over the top to stop smudging.. any smudges i get though i remove with either blu tack or an electric eraser
