EDIT: I noticed awhile ago that there was a missing page but I kept forgetting to fix it. There we go!!

I like thinking of the silliest comic ideas, leave me alone 8A8
This was kind of inspired by my annoyance at shoulder-sized/pocket-sized cutesy anime mascot companions. XD

Kuu, the brown haired kid, is a tobikura (Japanese Wikipedia article: [link] ), a vampire squirrel/bat youkai thing (depends on description). The reason why I drew him so big was because I saw the ukiyo-e print of a giant tobikura ( [link] ) and I thought it would be funny for him to be a giant flying squirrel, fff I'm easily amused, ok.

Mei, the girl, is an okuri-ookami ("sending wolf"). They follow people on mountains and are known to attack or protect people depending on the situation. Something like that!

I should just... make some sort of journal entry describing everybody so I don't have to retype everything /punched
