So I`ve been toying with the idea of drawing a piece using only grey colours to start then adding the colour afterwards for some darker toned artwork, One thing I`ve learned about the markers I use (Promarkers) is that they are very similar to water coloured paint, if you paint one colour on top of another the underlying colour will show through and impact how the top layer appears.

I have my own piece that I wanted to work on though decided to test this method first by drawing an existing character: I drew Myotismon, a villain from the Digimon Adventure Series.

I think this piece turned out pretty good and, despite the fact I haven`t added any colour yet, I`m actually content with how he looks now and would consider this stage as an alternative finished piece. I will continue to add colour to see how it turns out with his vibrant colour scheme, then I`ll continue with my own original artworks as I`ve done quite a few fanarts lately, notably Digimon lol.

Keeping in theme with Halloween, the artwork I am planning and preparing is one of my own Vampire Character, Bludimary.
