This simple drawing was strongly inspired by the wonderful HGSS fanfic Post Tenebras, Lux (After Darkness, Light) by Loten I'm currently reading on FF.net. It's beautifully written and features a long-past-war love story between the almost broken Snape and lonely but still wise and inquisitive Granger. In one of the latest chapters, right before it gets all hot and heavy between these two, S. is trying to push H. away by the ghastly display of his scars. That reminded me of some not overly good but visually inspiring YA lit that I also read recently, about fallen angels. So, I strategically placed some of Snape's scars, and even his removed shirt shaped sort of like a wing.Sorry for the long explanation, but this is how this came to be. Hope you like it.
