I had this artwork knocking around for a while, but just got inspired by reading The Occluded Soul Harry Potter HGSS fanfic by Aurette on fanfiction.net and changed the main "subjects" to Hermione and Severus. I think it's a perfect match

Bravo! I am a massive fan or Aurette, and The Occluded Soul is one of her best, and that's saying something! This is a fascinating piece, and works well. It reminds me of when Hermione was searching for all the different 'Snapes'. Well done.

No probs. I, too, have read everything of hers I can find, and I hope you'll illustrate more of her work. I'm also a huge fan of Needs Must, and the awesome Princess of Gryffindor, which, in my humble opinion, is one of the top five fanfics ever.

When I saw this on Aurette's LJ, it looked so different. I appreciate this so, so, so much more here, all larger than life. The color blending is at once contrast and compliment. The details of the faces are amazing.
