Another difficult Doctor to draw. To be honest I cut my teeth on Baker as The Doctor as most everyone my age did. My brother collects every Doctor Who dvd that comes out so I have seen plenty of his discs. I have grown to connect with the original four and the current run. so Peter Davison is mostly unknown to me. So what I have seen of him is pretty much brightly lit and not so moody as what I am accustomed to. Then add that he is much younger and doesn't have much in the way of strong features to accent. The lighting on the episode I have seen makes him look so fair that he just looks much softer. So instead of trying to really push too hard on Davison's features I let things slide a little and let him look a bit younger. Contrast against the first 4 Doctors like he was meant to. His hair and outfit are the most immediate defining details in his look anyway. The hat would have taken too much room in the frame.
