Pretty much yeah.

Just remember that some details couldnt be included because of how the colour/the colour silders will work on the model in the final product.
And while based off of a Barn Owl (which is what Super wanted) you have to leave some wiggle room/take out some details so it can be turned into other owl species,which means its base can't have say...the greyish spots/blotches that the Barn owl has on its wings.
But these details will be added in via markings.

The blue marked areas I think should be also in the base brown color. But that's least important.

The "square" is just a derp in image quality. There's no square on the actual texture which is good XD

Wobbly feathers I'm pretty certain is my doing, they just happened to derp a bit when I was playing around with the pose. Those primary feathers are moveable and can bend/distort quite a bit. My precision with Blender and posing is kinda poor since I've never worked with it before.

The brown bits I'm kind of iffy over, I may change it cos yeah, on Barn Owls the brown does extend a bit more, BUT the amount of brown seems to vary a lot from in each individual Barn Owl. That and the whole customisation thing.

I was wondering also, if maybe you guys (the animators in particular) would mind a paragraph on birds' flying techniques? I was watching a few documentaries lately and I gained some information that could really help on animating all flying species.
