I absolutely loved the Hanging Tree song in the movie, it was so full of despair, I never thought it would have so much impact when I first read the lyrics in the book. And the ending was so amazing, I still don't understand why people are complaining about the movie not ending right after Peeta getting knocked out. ._.
Anyway, your artwork's composition is really effective ! ** It is nice how we can't tell if she's putting the rope around his neck or if she's removing it. (: Katniss's gaze it wounderful, so full of sorrow and bitterness. I love jow you did the scar around her neck !

You're very welcome, pleasure's all mine ! ;u;
A lot of people complain about the ending they said it should have ended on Peeta's getting knocked out because it would have created so much suspense... But come on, there's a difference between suspense and frustration.  <_>
Mockingjay part II is definitely going to be a blast !

Your drawing gives me the chills! Not just because of Katniss' look on her face, not just because I can hear the song playing in my head, but because of how you drew Peeta. He is just sitting there like he is okay with whatever Katniss is doing. He just gave up on life and himself and he doesn't mind at all that Katniss is about to strangle him to death. Like he almost did to her.
I think you have really found the essance of the story and turned it into a drawing that speaks for itself. Suzanne Collins should see this, she has got to love this!
Really, it's amazing! I'm smelling a daily deviation

GOD, someone who gets how fucked up that movie has the potential to make a person 3;

I saw it, and then the next day all the stuff in ferguson started happening, I said "I just saw this in the theater" my mom didn't get it. The parallels are horribly creepy.

Yes, yes they are. if anything, out of all the books out there right now, the Hunger Games are the most true to life conditions books out there. I think Suzanne Collins did a really good job with detail and what not. I think a lot of the reason people don't like the books or the movies is because they'd rather turn a blind eye to the fact that this stuff is actually going on around them.
