Some System Shock 2 fan art here. I did this for our pen and ink project in art class. My teacher allowed me to do it all in ball point pen, which I am very gracious for. I was really happy with it when I finished it but now I can see all the flaws, so I apologize.This scene actually happens in the game. In the Medsci sector. It took so long to find a program to allow me to take screenshots from SS2.

That's pretty cool! We need more fan art in classic ink-style. That was a good idea to use circular hatching for the light sources. So it looks very realistic.

They were terrifying in the beginning. Later in Hydroponics, all I did was load them with a few of the armor-piercing rounds I had amassed and sigh.

That's a really intense scene with a dramatic vanishing point. The feature that stand out to me the most is your careful consideration of the various light sources and their optical effects, creating weighty darkness around the robot.

Oh man, I loved that game...awesome voice acting and soundtrack, the perfect atmosphere for a survival horror game.
I like how the tiling reinforces the perspective and brings the droid into focus; a simple technique but well executed, it gives a tense feeling of urgency and danger.

good attempt! I am also a fan of System Shock 2. I have done some similar drawings too, my favourite weapon was laser rapier. even when I saw Doom3, it reminded me SS2 more than Doom2 immediately.

Funny think, but one of pirated SS2 covers looks similar (it's bashed together from an ingame screenshot and some totally unrelated sci-fi drawing, by one of the big artists, but I can't recall which one ATM).

Man, I remeber running into this one. I'd been using the wrench and was on my was to upgrade my weapons skill to use the pistol(I concentrated mainly on hacking). Damn, I pretty much shat myself.

According to Andrew and from what I've seen, there's supposed to be a System Shock 2 sequel on the Xbox 360. It's called BioShock, and it won game of the show at E3

Trust me Bioshock sucks compared to SS2 and i mean that unbiasedly i played Bioshock before i found out about SS2 so i'm not a tunnel vision SS2 fanboy.
