Description
"Goodbye little brother."This is the scene where Brambleclaw has to kill his brother hawkfrost for betraying him. I added some tears in Brambleclaws eyes because no matter how much he hurt him, he still had to kill his only little brother and I imagine that would be very hard and very painful i mean they were really close. Also I personally loved Hawkfrost and feel like if his father hadn't corrupted him and filled his head with power hungry thoughts that he could've been an amazing cat and future leader of River Clan.
Also guys I'm trying a more "less is more" approach with the blood, let me know if you prefer this or the more gory pieces.
I think my next piece will be a Sasha x TigerStar piece because I find the idea of Tigerstar having a soft spot secretly for only one cat other than himself really cute.

I had lots of mixed feelings about that scene. I got really mad at him for trying to kill Firestar, but felt sad whenΒ Brambleclaw killed him. I used to not like Hawkfrost, but upon reading more about him, found he wasn't a bad character at all.

There's no need to correct someone - in the books I believe it only states that Brambleclaw stabbed his throat. Rasl has creative liscence and can draw the scene however they want.

I was simply pointing out that what you were doing is very rude and disheartening to the artist. I would really suggest not doing it again.

It wasn't really rude or disheartening. They were letting the artist know what happened in the books incase they weren't knowledgable about it, and they even said "cool concept".

still 100% rude to correct an artist, though. they didn't ask for you to nitpick. anytime you add "but" to a statement followed by a correction towards the other person, it's pretty fuckin rude.

Perhaps the commenter commented such a thing to let the artist know something they may not have known? The commenter may have thought the artist didn't know where the spike went and so they wanted to say so. Politely, they even say it's a cool concept nonetheless.
However, I apologize for commenting on something that's a year old. I felt the need to add in anyways, because I see no issue with the original commenter and I don't know how "correcting an artist" is bad. Artists are corrected and guided in many ways in critiques and just many overall comments. Although in this case I wouldn't call it a critique, but still.
