You would think this was shot with a macro (like the 105mm VR Macro I have my eye on) but no, again it was shot with the 70-300mm VR. This was shot through half inch glass if you can believe it! It probably would have been sharper if I shot it at 400 ISO and stopped it out a notch or two... or at least got a wider depth of field.

nah, i wouldn't assume you'd be crazy enough to get this kind of shot with a macro lens ah, i just read about that security glass nice one!!

at least the glass was clean and new. A lot of the other glass is so scratched you are really limited.
