Her cheek emblems are red stars with a pentagram. It represents the five elements — earth, air, fire, water, and the spirit.
Queen Neptune knew she was supposed to name her daughter after the stars, but didn't like repeating names, and so Named her Astrid which she claimed meant star in the ancient mewnian. Some didn't take her word and so she said it was short for Asteria.

Her wand took the form of a crown and she had a frustrating time trying to do her grandmothers spells.

Neptune let her daughter borrow her wand all the time and with it Astrid would make herself some arms, The problem with these arms were that they were made of fire and so weren't all that useful.

Her name comes from both Scandinavian and Greek. Scandinavain Astrid, meaning Godly strength. Derived from Germanic compounds meaning divine strength, or divine beauty. The Greek meaning of the name is practically the same. Its meaning is Old Norse star, super strength, divine strength .
