Description Another animal portrait. Eyeballed from a photograph. Shows a Rhinelander mare and a young colt, both bred by my sister - the mare was the one I started riding on again after a break of ten years or so. ^^ Poor thing. Well, we all have to carry something.

Acrylic paint. About 30 x 23 cm.

The scan is most probably the best I could get off a glossy painting on canvas... It's still awful...

Wow. (O_O)

Süß, solange man nichts von denen will.

Is your Signature a kanji?

raspberryDA In reply to sedighe [2012-08-25 00:27:49 +0000 UTC]

It's inspired by Japanese stamp signatures which are mostly kanji. But actually it's just a sign formed out of a C and an H with a 90° turn and a frame. It turned out as the mirrored hiragana "mo": も

I'm never quite sure about my signature, but at the moment I'm rather happy with this one.

No, I'm not from Japan. I just love a lot of things which come from there. And my drawing (except animal portraits of course) is inspired by Japanese manga. I'd like to go on a trip to Japan someday, too. At least on vacation. For now I'm glad enough to have access to many things like films, manga, food, music, clothes...
