I recently finished watching it (yeah, I've seen the anime, I haven't read the manga - shame on me u.u).

Yeah. It's the only anime I've seen that was just like the manga in every way, except for some slight word choice changes, and the whole 'moving color pictures' thing.

Well, story and design are not very easy to grasp and the theme is rather unsettling. You really need to pay attention to watch this anime (or read the manga) and then you won't even get cute little girls, bright shiny eyes or mediocre martial arts scenes - but a mature psychological crime/conspiracy story.
Of course, it's brilliant, though, I guess there are many reasons why not so many people know, like and actually watch that show. Unfortunately.

It's so difficult to find good Monster fanart. It's one of my top five anime/manga of all time, so it's a bit disappointing. I really like the style here. Dr. Tenma looks very nice, I really like his eyes. The roses look really great as well. It looks like you put a lot of hard work into the piece. Great job

Thank you very much! I thought the same when I was looking for Monster fanart. Though I think it's not so much a lack in quality than in quantity. It's hard to even find anything. So I decided to make one myself in my style.

Hands down, I can still see the skill you possess, as well as the beauty of this piece even if your scanner may have messed up with the colors.

I love your style, it helps add mood to the piece, giving it a darker undertone.

Don't worry about not having read the manga at the time, I couldn't even find it so all I've really seen is the anime version.
