This somehow looks better on paper than it did in my head, I'm just sorry I don't have a better way to colour them. And I swear they have freckles! I gave them freckles! They're just really hard to see now...

At least a few people have pointed out that in A Canterlot Wedding Applejack is the most outspoken and sympathetic to Twilight's very mixed feelings during that time. It's probably not just because of the importance of family and honesty to Applejack, but because she is the one that can empathize the most with Twilight in that scenario - she is the only other Mane Six member (that we know of, anyway) that has a big brother.
