Description So I got into a fight with a friend of mine, a lot of frustration in my life built up and I exploded at them. I apologized, we made up, had some fun together and now we're best buds again but to sweeten the deal I got them a apology gift, this picture of her favourite new character, Fay from Starfox 2.

Fun facts about the game. Many of those that worked on it found that most of their ideas in Starfox 2 were used in Starfox 64, a game that didn't have any of their input? And it's believed that the game was cancelled so a Japanese led team could use their ideas on the upcoming 64 game instead.

Not too big on this kinda thing usually, (no offense) but I like your take on her.

Actually, your facts are a li'l off, and kinda verge into nasty rumor territory. Actually some developers/producers from SF2 did have input in SF64, like Takaya Imamura, Giles Goddard, and of course Shigeru Miyamoto.

The reason "Star Fox 2" was cancelled, is because it was finished around 1996, (the same year the N64 was released) and it had too much competition from more impressive graphics on the Playstation 1, and Sega Saturn, and because the SuperFX2 Chip game cartridge would've been expensive to produce. Due to the cancellation, some of the developers actually salvaged some concepts, and used them for Star Fox 64, (like all range mode) and are actually the ones that came up with them themselves. Like Imamura is the character/art designer whom made the Star Wolf team. So they weren't necessarily "stolen."

After the finalized version of the game finally got official released via the "SuperNES Classic Edition" some former SF2 developers actually had a party together to celebrate it, including Dylan Cuthbert of Q-Games.

I heard different from the mouths of a bunch of their developers, who had a different story to tell, not to mention that Nintendo had done similar things to other western developers at the time (look up the background to the Croc games). Otherwise I don't really want to get into a pissing match so lets just enjoy the picture ok?

Not trying to start anything, but I've heard those, as well, and conflicting ones, as well.
Still, actually Nintendo has gotten along with Western developers, and many have said nice things about them. (Especially, Rare whom was actually better off under them then Microsoft whom let them go out of business...)

Many rumors like the "Miyamoto hates DKCountry" turned out false, (Miyamoto himself had to debunk it, and stated he even helped give advice to Rare, and was good friends with them during development, so he uncreditally helped make the original DKC, and it was his idea to revive the series on Wii too) so I'd just be careful with what I hear, or spread online.
