Such a gorgeous bird, and very underrated (probably because of their high numbers, and the fact that they simply seem black from a distance). I love how you captured that sheen on his throat feathers in this photo - on of the things that makes it so beautiful! Amazing seeing the whole colour shift there; from yellow to green to blue to purple

Cause it looks different from the starlings around my place I think (Germany)
I always like to notice how birds variety according to the country. For eample the blackbirds in Germany look a bit differently and especially sing differently than the ones down in Croatia. The same for (Eurasian) jays - they have a completely different behavior in Croatia. They make really weird sounds there - it's almost like talking. - But I never witnessed any doing that in Germany. (Oh, I love Croatia )

Israel. Starlings fly in the winter in Israel.
