Thanks a lot! Come to think about it, one can't say we stole from nature... We are part of nature, and thus our homes are part of nature just like a beaver's dam or a hamster's burrow. It's just, we tend to forget we're part of nature and act as if what we do to nature wouldn't fall back on us.

It's a little difficult to make out the window from the picture since it's almost swarmed by nature and ruins, it looks somewhat messy with too many subjects ... all I could see was "abandonment" ... but somehow your story further opened my eyes and heart. You made me see the windows, you made me see the roles of the flowers and creeps and ruins in the picture, you made me see an abandoned building in detail

Ah, so the photo by itself, without the story, is a tad too cluttered? Or is it a good picture showing abandonment? Anyway, I'm not quite sure whether the title is the best for the photo, but it was late and I was tired. Luckily I had that story on my mind before, and the last line must have come from one of my few brain cells that wasn't asleep yet ;]

Abandonment was more of like a spontaneous feeling that I had when I first saw the photo ... but with your entry in the "without" challenge and your story, you made me see more

Great you like co,co & co ;] What do you mean by focus... depth of focus? Ah, Du bist ja auch aus Deutschland. Ich weiß nicht ganz genau, was Du mit focus meinst. Dasselbe, was meendee geschrieben hat: "too many subjects"? Ironischerweise hatte ich zuerst ein anderes Foto [link] für den WITHOUT contest ausgesucht, und mich praktisch in letzer Sekunde umentschieden, weil es mir zu langweilig (=too litte subjects) erschien. Und zwei andere, die ich auch noch in Betracht gezogen hatte: [link] [link] Was sagst Du zu den Fotos, und welches drückt den WITHOUT Gedanken am besten aus?

Also ich finde du hast das beste Bild für den contest gewählt! Allerdings hatte ich keine Ahnung das das Bild für `nen Contest war, bis du es mir geschrieben hast! Mit dem Focus meinte ich, dass ich nicht wirklich den Punkt finden konnte auf den du focissiert hast!

Nee, hatte diesmal (aus Müdigkeit? Unsicherheit?) bei der Beschreibung nicht daran gedacht, zu erwähnen, dass es für OWP ist. Meine Kamera hat Autofokus, dass kann ich nicht beeinflussen, worauf die fokussiert...
