Hey there guys, it's that time again for some new art and I'm very excited with this one.
Continuing with my Sly Cooper fan art tribute, I move on to the sly and traitorous yet cool character, Constable Neyla! I've been wanting to draw her since the first time I saw her but I wanted to wait until my style improved. I do feel she turned out nicely and it was very fun drawing her! 
I swear, this girl... Where to start. She is one of the most deceitful and malicious villains I've ever seen in a Video game (that I've played). I swear, the first time I played Sly 2: Band of Thieves, I didn't see her turning on Sly and his friends because I thought they were going to give her as a permanent friend who worked for the police to keep them updated with various cases. But as we all know, that didn't happen lol And to make it even more surprising, she even turned on the Klaww Gang as well. I totally didn't see that coming... xD Gee, I'm very curious and slightly put off that they didn't give her a back story that explained why she was the way she was, I would have liked to know. i feel she may have been used in the past and that's what made her this way but who knows? Still, I would have loved if she was good and became a member of the Cooper gang but alas, some things aren't meant to be. u_u
Anyway, I hope you all like how she turned out in my style, she was a blast to draw!

Sly 2 was the first ever sly cooper game I have ever played, and it remains my favorite. I grew up on that game, and I still play it on this very day

Yup! There's a little bit of a back story on the wiki about her being born to a family with nothing, and then about her sneaking into a British University, but it would have been good if they gave her a bigger back story. She was a really interesting character.
Kinda wish she didn't die so they could bring her back..

I still confess she's a good villain, I can't deny that
If you can fool Sly, you're good!
I just thought she became a bit, predictable eventually
I mean, she betrayed everyone, when she stabbed sly I thought it was rough..
But than Carmelita, the contessa, the klaww gang, Arpeggio
If I were Arpeggio, I would not have allowed her on that Blimp, it's his brand plan!
But, I guess that's my thought, I won't say more
Or else everyone will throw bones at me
But I just feel like the character could've been better as villain.
I thought Penelope her betrayal, was more interesting due the long relationship she had.
But I'm also spoint with good villains I guess

No no, I see where you're coming from. My biggest complaint about Neyla as much as I like her is that they never explained why she was such a conniving and deceitful person. I wanted to hear a back story on her because it was kind of hard to know what to feel about her other than going "You bitch!" lol
I really don't like Penelope betraying the gang, it felt very out of character and not to mention how they handled her betrayal (not talking to the other members of the gang who she did build a friendship on other than Bentley) but her reason was plausible which is what I can't say for Neyla.

I can't agree further than that
I always find a background story, important to many villains.
If anything, the background is something I add second to making my characters.
Sometimes one character's history is more secret, but it's still clear about them.
Even if sometimes a bit short, either way a simple one can be nice.
Even Psycho's in dead rising are often better explained than Neyla was
Fair point, after all the good stuff she did with the gang, it was really off character.
I saw Neyla more like a, backstabber than a real good villain, due the missing information.
Not knowing about a villain, is just tossing a random character in
But again, I'm spoilt with good villains I guess
After Armacham, Amon, Clockwerk, I just feel some are too soft

Definitely one of the most dangerous villains in the Sly series. She not only turned against Sly and Carmelita, but she also double-crossed most of the villains in the game, which made her pretty much one of the most interesting characters in the series.

Neyla was indeed the most treacherous character in the series. But some of us (like myself) liked her too much to keep her that way. Some of us liked to bring her back from the dead so to speak and try a different angle: like what turned her bad.
Still; a big part of me really liked her bad!! And she looks pretty bad in your style! (Not bad 'bad' of course. ;D) Bad as in awesome. ^^
