scales can still be pierced and severed by knives and swords how else would the knights kill a dragon in king arthur's time or the hunters in monster hunterΒ kill over half of the dragon based monsters.Β but metal armor and scales are much better and is why i saidΒ spike has metal armor on under his cloak it just makes the most senseΒ for the clang sound when the knife hit his back is all
