Description
Dip pen and ink. Wee bit o' watercolor for the eyes.I feel credit must be given to photographer Andrew Zuckerman for the photograph I used as a reference. This owl was featured in his book Creature. The book is full of amazing animal photographs in high resolution.
What's cool is that the actual owl is nearly colorless except for the eyes. I've taken artistic license in a few of the details.
