Returning to ChaosFissure 's "Linear Triangles" technique. One of my favorite things about this type of fractal is that with high gamma values (here, gamma = 100) you can create unique, flowing colors unlike anything else I've seen in Apophysis. Another is the speed of rendering: you can create ridiculously high-quality, high-resolution renders in a very short time. This render is 11.25 megapixels, and another of my upcoming linear triangles works, Triangulate, is 18 megapixels. For once, my limiting factor is not time, but sheer quantity of RAM--this coming from the fractal-artist for whom a week-long render is business as usual.
