Description
This fractal has a bit of a story. At some point or rather, I came across C-91 's Bye, Julian , a 2D bloom without any julia-based final transforms. I started thinking...could this be taken a step further? I went through my 2D bloom works, trying to assemble a "blacklist" of variations I refused to use, and then set out using the same technique which led to my recent spiral fractals.
As a result, I hereby present to you Ataraxia. It has no spherical-based variations, no gaussian_blur, and no julia-based final transform--in fact, no final transform at all. (Admittedly it has some cross, though...oh well.
Full variation list: auger, cross, flatten, linear, log, noise, polar, pre_blur.
An Apophysis 7x fractal. As with all my fractals, I highly recommend you zoom in for the best viewing experience.

Thank you! A tutorial is on the way, which covers the techniques from most of my works for the past few weeks.
