Featured in Annissina's November Feature + New Contest .I couldn't think of a good name for this one--so lN50MNlA came to the rescue.
A bit of a technical exercise--2D blooms inside a spherical gasket, and then the spherical gasket goes inside the petals of the 2D blooms. Named after the biological family of fireflies.An Apophysis 7x fractal. As with all my fractals, I highly recommend you zoom in for the best viewing experience.
