I first started working on this shortly after ThoughtWeaver 's fantastic Ribboned Tide won a Daily Deviation. I've always admired his amazing nebula fractals but have never managed to come close to emulating that style, nor have I managed to find any resources to help. I struck out on my own to create a fractal nebula, and though I came nowhere close to what I intended, I can't say I'm dissatisfied with the result.
An Apophysis 7x fractal. As with all my fractals, I highly recommend you zoom in for the best viewing experience.
