Sparkle Sparkle SparkleIn a few years time, Twi has grown quite a bit, as has little PeeWee. And look at what a wonderful twilight she managed to put on display.
I actually started with this piece right after the Dragon Quest episode. *OsakaOji in our Skype Group mentioned, that Twi's now a step closer to princesshood because she has an own Phoenix now. So thanks to him, for providing the inspiration to this drawing.
But since I'm incredibly lazy, I only finished it today.

I like this, but I hope Twilight has a unicorn-ifying spell that temporarily turns an alicorn a unicorn. No, I'm NOT a Twilicorn hater. I'm NOT one of these three groups AKA:Β , andΒ . Those are a bunch of idiots. Hasbro will NEVER listen to them. EVER. I like Twilicorn. She's better as an alicorn than as a unicorn.

I love how you didn't make her an Alicorn, that seems rather stupid to me, and it allows for a more realistic situation- If worst case scenario happened and both the princesses disappeared, Twilight comes in

None at all besides the "Appljack is a silly Pony" and "Shoo Be Doo"-Stuff, but I'm not even sure if that's G1. Why?

The token unicorn amongst the first set of six Princess Ponies (and the only ones to feature in the cartoon) was called Princess Sparkle.
And yes, both those things are G1, but the "Applejack is a silly pony" thing applies only to UK-exclusive non-cartoon-continuity material. In particular, the song "Who's a silly pony?".

this looks epic. also since her brother is marring royalty wouldn't her family be tied to the same royal line? all twi needs now is wings and she could rule equestria some day.

The sky turned out very nice and her hair looks like space <3
But the floor is a bit too simple, maybe a texture would help. And even though I can imagine that there are shots of phoenixes like this, I can't help but feel like Peewee is missing an eye.
The shading on her body is nice. You've really gotten a lot better at this. Though the lines of shimmer/light/reflection on her hoof-ornaments and her tail seem not quite logical.

I truly wonder if she'll be a princess (or even just an alicorn) by the end of the show. She's got the personality for it, and Celestia herself has admitted that her powers are great...

Yeah, my sorta-headcanon is, that Celestia picked Twi as her student, because she sees the potential in Twi to become a Princess. And maybe Alicorns aren't a real species, but rather other Ponies (especially Unicorns) sorta evolve into them in truly incredibly rare occasions. We'll see.

Woooow! Is the hair transparent or nonetransparent? It's sorte of transparent, but the hair part at her cheek negates that and PeeWee too. Anyway love it^^

The hair was transparent at first, showing a little bit of PeeWee, but that looked off, so I made it this way. But now I again think it looks off and maybe it'd be better with a little transparency again! Argh!

Her hair feels off for some reason the way it go's around her neck makes me think of a helmet : /
Just my own opinion but I perfer Twilight without the shoes, her scarf is nice tho ^^

Haha, you're right, it totally reminds me of a helmet now too. I tried to emulate Celestia's hairstyle, who also has that little "swirl" at her neck. But it does look off, you're right.
