Idea by ~Buchi04 Thank you very much for having it! It's kinda a present for the AppleDash fanclub in a very big german mlp-fandom forum.That picture took way too long to make. I started it long before bronycon, but I always only worked on it during my livestreams.
Drawing water is really hard, by the way.
Big thanks to everybody who attended one of the streams while I was working on that! You were a great motivation.

I've always also drawn innocent and adorable things. Just because I also like to draw smut doesn't mean I'm suddenly unable to do innocent things.
I think it's sad, that people don't believe artists can do both.

to a point, it takes a less innocent mind to draw less innocent things don't you agree? Like if someone is surrounded by negative things then they are encouraged to think negatively, and vice versa with positive things.
The animations are... contridictarory. You made a lot of people happy by making them along with gaining self-accomplishment. But its...
I dont care what people do aslong as they dont broadcast the negative things they do. I see the animations to be positive but having a negative impact, explicit pictures like that of humans are bad anyway, taking the innocence of little girls candy coloured ponies is... another thing.
Im making this out to be worse than I think it is but to summarise:
YOU DO WHAT YOU WANT but others will make opinions on what you do, and they can change. Like changing from innocent to the oppisite because ya cant be both...

It's okay! Please don't be sorry! I enjoy conversations like that. 
And yes, of course people are gonna have opinions. I still think it's sad that in the minds of some people artists can't do innocent and smut, because I KNOW that artists can separate between those things. Actually, a lot of people can.
I don't like it that when somebody does smut, some people immediately think "Oh no! Now he/she is not innocent anymore! It's tainted! Every art he or she ever did is tainted." And in my eyes that's just pathetic. Not saying that you think like that, by the way! But that's what I heard multiple times, especially after Rai did that NSFW piece of hers.
Also I could almost never think of art having a negative impact. Ever. Art is almost always something positive. Even if it's wrong, disgusting or sad. It's still art. That's the beauty about art, in my eyes. As long as just one person likes one of my pictures, then I am happy. No matter if it's a cute and innocent picture or if it's maybe somewhat disturbing smut.
I myself don't like the animations that much in a personal standpoint, because I don't like human/pony interaction that much. But it was a nice experience to cross this line and to learn more about animation. And I do like them on a technical standpoint. That's another thing: Just because I'm drawing something, doesn't mean I'm completely into it. Sure, a lot of things I draw is stuff that I like, that's just how my inspiration works. But not everything. Sometimes I just want to try out new stuff.
Also, but that's probably because you and I are apparently way different in this regard, but I don't think explicit pictures of humans are bad. Not at all. And I also very strongly think that people can be both innocent and have a strong sexuality. And it's a very sad thing, that some people automatically think just because somebody is sex-positive he or she isn't innocent anymore and that it's a bad thing. In my eyes there's so much wrong with this view. Especially because humans are very sexually per nature. Sexuality isn't a bad thing.
Sure, sexuality in candy colored Ponies may be something different, but still.

Muh ha ha ha ha. You thought I was gone! But no, I just finally had time to reply to this comment. You don't know how much it's irritated me seeing and holding onto this message all this time in my message box, but not being able to reply to it.
Rat, we actually have exceptionally similar views from what I read, and I do understand how you feel. I did art as one of my final exams in school and got an "A" in the pratical. Nowadays I don't have much appreciation for art, more the effort and talent the artists have.
But let me explain a few things: I completely understand why you made those animations. Everyone likes trying something different and it's good to push boundries. That's also human nature, like the sexual interest you mentioned 
(A very primitive and brutish natural from being cavemen tha we've tried to evolve past and become more civilised...

Going really off-track here. Sorry. Thankyou for saying that the views you displayed were not necasarily my views - because they weren't. Maybe saying we have similar views is wrong of me, but we're definitly on the same page whenever you mention other people's nievety.
Yes, there are these sheep-like people who judge without looking in detail or taking other things into consideration. From my experince, I agree that everyone can do both innocent and devious things whilst generally representing themselves as one (like you said). But that doesn't mean because of this that they don't have a less innocent mind. We create everything from inspiration (kinda like you said), which also means the devious creations come from a devious part of your mind. That's what I mean! My opinion changed of you because I only saw 100% innocent stuff before, that's all. Seeing something different was a shock and not what I'm used to, as it was for some other people.
I mean, the amount of people interested in sexual human and pony relations is exactly why I refuse to call myself a brony sometimes.
I know you're not one thing or the other. You're both, just like everyone else on the plannet is capable of being both! Ya'll just missunderstood me, probably because I did'nt write in paragraphs like now 
So don't be irritated by how people react to shock. They'll come around or otherwise - they're senseless idiots. We humans are known to forget "there's more to things/people then meet's the eye." Which usually leads us to lashing out when we don't seek to understand something. Hense the people who accused your freind of losing their innocense from drawing 1 NSFW picture.
I appreciate all you've said to me and the time and effort you put into that message. I wish I coulda done the same, and sooner. Oh and about the animations. Glad to know that's how you feel and I still understand why you did them. It might suprise you to know that I also appreciate the technical side of the animation as I have a National Diploma in Media Production and a Diploma in Imedia. This work horse knows a thing or two

Hi! Oh my god, what a reply. 
I think we're indeed pretty much on the same page, at least more or less. I won't go into the whole prostitution-thing now, because I think that might be a little too much. Basically I have a somewhat twofold viewpoint on it. For one I agree with you, especially on the "not liking how girls get treated" part, but on the other hand I can also see some positive aspects of it. But prostituation is really not what I meant when I defended sex-positivity. At all!
I also don't like that you seem to imply that sexuality is a brutish and uncivilised instinct.
But that's really a whole other discussion that would be too much for the comments here, I guess! But feel free to write me a Note if you'd like to talk more about it.
And yes, I get the whole shock-part about discovering an artist does NSFW, but the thing is, I did implying/saucy art since the very first day I started doing art! Some of my earliest pieces here on dA are kinda suggestive and not that innocent, that's why I was somewhat taken aback when you seemed so shocked!

I'm so sorry, I just wanted to publicly post me correctign a few things. 
Secondly. I don't think sexuallity is something to be discouraged or brutish and uncivilised, I personally broadcast and am very open with my sexuallity because of the story behind it. (It's bisexual btw.) I think public display of sexual content (let's say porn) and mental fixations on the subject (like guys using a box of cleenex on their laptop everynight rather then looking for a real girlfreind or even Love) is very... pityful and maybe... primitive?
By all means, tell the world you like guys or girls, and take pride in it: Have cheeky disscusions with you girlfreinds about the size of your partners *ahem*. Or ask others in confidence about their fetishes or favourite position with a mature audience.
I think that's fine, just not the bit about internet porn and the poor working girls like I said

Awww, don't worry! Germans and Swiss both speak German (usually), so the confusion is understandable.
By the by, when I was talking about sexuality, I didn't mean sexual orientation but rather sexual interest. Or the whole viewpoont on the matter sex.
And yeh, you're right, there's a point where a healthy view on sex can become primitive or brutish. But I think that's an extreme, just opposite of the whole "if you think about sex, god is gonna smite you" viewpoint. A healthy inbetween is perfect. I just really don't like, that so many people shunt everybody who seems to be sex-positive. But of course mindless consumation of sex is also not really the nonplusultra. So as long as you don't consume something where somebody got harmed against their will, I don't think it's bad.
I don't see anything negative with someone who masturbates daily, though. As long as it doesn't overshadows the rest of his (love)life, of course! I'm going out on a limp here, but I think everybody of our generation masturbates. And that is a seriously good thing. Way better than a couple of decades ago, where everything sex was considereded bad and filthy.
I mean we're finally living in a world where people don't automatically feel bad and terrible for liking the more kinkier practices of sex. And that alone is a good thing. Sure, you should keep your sex life out of public though, here again two extremes where a healthy middleground is best.
Oh, yeah, I know that the step from saucy to porn is rather big, but I mean it wasn't unexpected from me, was it? I never made a secret out of the fact that I like the subject matter, on the contrary, I was always pretty open with it. But yeah, I certainly understand the surprise!
