This really doesn't fit the theme of DA's contest..
Oh well, at least it's a cool wallpaper.

This nuclear power plant had a good long run,
however it was not properly maintained.

The power plant caused catastrophic damage to the area around it.
Poisoning the underground water, mutating nearby life-forms,
and created a danger for the people in the area.
The plant was shut down, and most of the toxic material was disposed of.
However, some of it remained...

The absence of humankind has left nature to reclaim the land.
The area, although still dangerous, has become a safe haven for animals.
The area has become quite infamous for the strange mutations that occur.
Like roses growing ten times their average size,
and appearing in places they shouldn't be.

Although these things are strange,
they're quite interesting to study.
