Description
A small windmill I found near the coast a few miles south of the northern tip of Denmark.I used a sepiatoning set at 50% transperancy, a monochromo channelmixer set at 25% transperancy and finally some burn/dodge work.
I hope you'll like it.
[EDIT] I've been getting some comments about the photo looking too fake. Well, with the technique I described I used, I WANTED it to look unnatural

I notice a few complaints about the fake look to the windmill. It must be a result of how I burned the sky. I might have been too careless, using a softbrush set to 300 px. I did it that way to get a smooth sky, but the sideeffect seems to be a fake look to the mill. I actually dont mind that myself. I'm happy with the slightly surreal dreamy look. I guess its a matter of taste.

It looks superimposed onto the grass... and poorly superimposed at that... it doesn't sit "right", the right side of the bottom looks like it's floating.

This is wonderful like something from a fairy book...its amazing..it doesnt look like a photo but that is great because its created a really wonderful style..very unique.

MAybe I would have like to see the original shot rather than this edited one.. Just like others said, it doesn't look real. Almost rendered, in my opinion.
I like the location and subject of photography though.

GREAT work, in my opinion this is getting waaaaaaaay too little hype. You're chosen technique captured this scene perfectly. The grass is surreal. this is a shot to be proud of.

wow this is an amazing shot, not only is it dark *wooo* but it has a mysterious feel to it, and i agree with bnazza bout the windmill not looking real.. the sky is really great and looks like a storm is creeping up... wow.
