I wouldn't have uploaded this photo was it not for M. Ward's strangely meditative song called "dead man" from the album Transfiguration Of VincentIt starts out:
Dead man, dead man don't cry
Dead man, dead man don't cry, don't cry,
When you die it ain't the end,
it ain't the end when you die.
Any of you remember the childhood mystery what lies beyond the horizon? I love how children has no concept of death nor eternity. Ignorance is bliss, yes sir!

Great photo!! beautiful lighting... definitly a full view piece. What I see reminds me of a military(Navy) child. Im thinking he's at the waters edge crying and waiting for his parent to return, angry cause they're gone (whatever kind of gone you wish to believe). Very emotive. I love it.

Wow, the crisp contrast and layout of the shot is excellent. I'm not too keen on the size of the border though and I think maybe this photo would look better if it was taller, with more sky showing.
