Description
"To get through the hardest journey we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping"Promise, this will be the last 'gold' piece for a long time. I'll try and renew myself. Sorry if I've been annoyingly repetitive...

To be honest, I've haven't been annoyed by all of the 'gold' pieces but they did lose their flavor after so many. This renewed it for me, though. I like this one a lot. Appears to be some 'light at the end of the tunnel' imagery. Very nice. Keep them coming, I say.

I know what you're saying about flavor. Funny thing about personal style, you wanna get it, but you dont want it to trap you, you know? Everynow and again, I identify with a certain style, and its damn hard to move on. I'll come up with something eventually...
Thanks for sticking with me even if your tastebuds was numbed

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it's just been to role with it and hope you naturally transition into something new. Styles may be put off for a while, but they're always with you once you're far enough into them. You'll come up with something, I'm sure. I look forward to seeing it when you do. Good luck.

I'd love to know what style you are using to create these. I presume this was created using a style in photoshop? I'm just discovering the power of this....
It's a cool shot!

keep on stepping my friend. Sometimes you can fly instead op stepping, but when you lose your wings, you will fall down very hard.
The question is: will you take that risk?
well done!

The glow from the sky on the sand, the footsteps, the tilted angle, endless DOF, killer sky and the whole golden toning with crazy contrast and sweet texture comes together to make this sensational photo
Very well done, without a doubt.

Hi
I dont really think that you've been _annoyingly_ repetitive, but repetitive for sure I dont find this a problem though, esp. if you realize that you want to change your ways
[wow how literative i am
]
May i ask how you make these "golded" pictures?
Thnx
V.

I...want a print of this.
It's absolutely amazing, it really is. The tilt, the textures, colour and all...I can't find anything to criticize. Just one question, I'm sorry for my ignorance, but how exactly did you achieve the rich gold tone?
It really is extremely beautiful.

raun In reply to DarkMyth [2005-11-10 19:22:56 +0000 UTC]
thank you very much. The rich gold tone was achieved by softlight blending a sepialayer over the photo..
BTW. I'm submitting this as a print now

absolutely gorgeous. the footsteps in the sand (mud?) add alot. the line of the tracks becomes more complex, more interesting to look at. the sky is wonderful, i love the angle...great composition, overall.
