I tried with white borders, black borders, no borders, and this is what I thought looked best. For prints I've reduced the framesize. Its something to do with the arguable background color of DA, some colors just clash if they are not seperated by a border..

thank you very much. I've used levels, colorbalance, gradientmaps, softlighted clouds, a texturelayer. Voila, end of story.
