A rather unsuccesfull panaroma stitch, I know. But I just love that sky, and you guys have to see it too
What a tedious task it was trying to fit those 12mm shots together. Word of advice: NEVER use ultrawideangle photos for stitch jobs, the barreldistortion makes for an unsolvable puzzle, and you WILL end up insane trying to solve it. Anyways, despite its flaws, I hope you'll like it. Good weekend to all

One of your most striking panoramas, though one of the worst in terms of technicality
It's not too bad, but I am used to seeing absolutely fluid and seamless panoramas from you so it's surprising to be able to find the stitches in this one. However I understand how difficult it can be to "solve a problem" like this one, wide angle lens are a bitch if you're trying to do this

for an unsolvable puzzle you did a damn good job, I've tried stitching 18mm shots together and the distortion was too much for me to deal with...

ah, I love the colors of this... and the size... but yeah, I like the way the colors and light seem to be coming over the hills... it seems to have movement to the whole thing, which is very cool..

for a 12mm stitch, that's one hell of a job - there are a few minor spots, but it you're not looking for them, you're not going to see it. when i stitch i usually don't shoot anything wider than 50mm - i'd rather take a little time to paste 10 or 20 shots together than mess with the hassle of trying to adjust for something as wide as 12mm ...

This is an amazing sky and I think you did a very nice job of stitching it. I do see a few spots, but...for the most part it looks dead on.

Honestly, I only see a few seems and only saw them because you stated that it wasn't a very good stitch. I think it turned out really nice. Perfection is hard... if even possible at all. And your stitch is better than what you give yourself credit for. Manual stitch or program aided?

Man, I tried stitching some shots together for the first time last week, and I went insane with the barrel distortion ... PLUS, it was a shot of the ocean (and the small ripples drove me quite mad) ... in the end, I gave up.

Nice colours and a very powerful sky.
I find the trails in the snow a bit distracting. I think the photo would be better cropped tighter at the bottom, say around 15%. You would also make the stitches less obvious.

I think the wheel trails are a bit distracting and don't hamonize with the virginity of the nature. Otherwise it's a great photo

i too have had a horrible time stitching wide angle photographs together. spending days and then deciding not to share it with anyone but myself.
