Look closely and you might see a crazy little man standing on the edge at 3400m altitude, with a shute on his back. I was actually looking in his direction for several minutes without spotting him, the surroundings were just that big!The Alps, winter 2008

Amazing photo. Usually when someone introduces a person or an animal into a scene, it just irritates me. I think the subject matter ends up confused because living things capture our attention so much more: is the photo about bambi or the waterfall?
Not this time. Balance is perfect. Subject (story) is crystal clear. Very nice.

One of my favorite parts about this shot is that you submitted such a large size. So many details, and I don't have to miss any of them! Must have been a blast up there. I've only seen the Alps from a distance, but they're beautiful.
