Encounter with a child, 4 days trek north of Phokara, western Nepal.Iβd hate to have my own photos on my wall, but if I had to, this would be it. To me itβs a picture of humanity in its most charming outfit. Beauty with no sign of vanity, falseness, greed, or pretence. All this in a shy little girl, who lives among the highest of the Himalaya mountains.
[techstuff] nikon601AF, 70-200mm Nikkor lens, fuji colordia, fladbedscanned. [dustremoval, levels, sepia and framing in photoshop.]

I wish the black part of the border wasn't there. It would look a lot cleaner, imo, with just a plain white one.

but I would seriously consider taking the filme strip off the image it kind of destroys all the amazing mood the photo its self has
