Well I notice that you get four paths which has heavy impact on the game so i made 4 diffrent couriers for these situations and I've given a background each 1 so here we go! plus I have added a card symbol on their profile like who's side they would be on. Warning this long!(Edit: Courier 1 is having a rewrite which I'm currently working on but here is some info)
Courier one: Marcus Weintraub
"Am I alive? I can't tell anymore..."
Marcus Weintraub's origins is clouded in lies and dust and exaggerated stories, formerly from canada record from the Enclave who were trying to caputuring belives he was fighting the commonwealth, a group that survived the Great War and was terrorizing the locals with their androids and cyborgs, After the event that "Burned" the commonweath, several records from various groups and indiviguals pointed that Marcus was sighted in The Pit with unkown reasons but it was also during the time when the slaves rebelled with the indivigual named The Lone Wanderer, then after 3 months he apperantly he ended up living in the Divied.... The last report from sources states he is now in New Vegas working with a Courier named Panica Radford....

Beth was a normal girl in a town near a NCR outpost, with a loving family and friends, she did not expect the war between the NCR and Brotherhood of steel reach the town which resulted in the death of everyone she ever knew...she herself was nearly killed untill she was saved by the NCR Rangers there who took her in and raised her for the next 2 years. After basic training with the Rangers she left for a better life in New Vegas which resulted her path for the truth on why she was shot in the head and somehow repay NCR for saving her life.

Formerly a rare Viper gang member assasin he was saved from an Turbo overdose by a Follower Doctor: who cured his addiction and then taught him medical and scientific practices but in the end recieved a cut in the throat in his sleep when Sigg founded out that the man had a load of caps, with the education he had recived he worked as an doctor/assasin for hire in NCR lands which erned him the title "MadDoc Shadows" for using medical instraments and never been able to be caught, but after a screw up in one of his hits he fled into the Mojave to escape the NCR and layed low as a courier but was then shot in the head by the TOPS chairmen Leader Benny.After waking up and slaughtering everyone in Goodsprings he walks the path of revenge against Benny and NCR and no one will get in his way.

"Forever I'll hunt the unjust..."
Formerly a giant tribal man from Arizona a hundred years ago, Carsus was brutally murdered by unkown group who destoyed his tribe and killed his only daughter. Then a group of scientists came and took his body for inhumane experiments with pre-war tech which were to create soldiers from the dead. The result was a Success, they managed to revived Carsus and turned him into monstrous combat soldier but he rebelled and killed them all and escaped the lab. After years of surviving the wastes and gaining back some of his humanity he became a legendary mercernary with a massive blade he managed to scavaged from the ruins of his village. He then went to New Vegas after discovering that his body was starting to fail him. The half dead man/machine's only hope left is in the hands of the mysterious Mr. House who was rumoured to be much older than himself...

Awesome amount of detail. Reminds me of a Fallout rewrite I'm working on, with several characters all taking on the role of the courier at some point (the attack near goodsprings never happens), all of whom came from the Divide, before it got blown up in a Legion attack. Cordell Granite is an NCR Ranger who eventually recieved his sequoia and black armor, and now fights to help the Republic bring civilization to the Mojave. Josh Dornan returned from an expedition to Zion Canyon with Desert Ranger Armor, and a mission from God to restore the USA, starting with the independence of New Vegas. Maxwell was barely a teen when he fled the destruction of the Divide, but he was half dead when Brotherhood Paladins found him out in the wastes, so they took him in and raised him as 'Paladin Maxus' and he took part in the battle for Helios One, then volunteered himself for scav duty, going outside with Veronica to gather supplies, and eventually ended up at the Sierra Madre. Alex was also very young when he fled the Divide, but he stumbled upon a Legion Camp and attempted to steal some food, but was caught by a Legionnaire named Vulpes who shot him in the head, robbing him of his memories, and Vulpes would have finished him, except that the young boy reminded him of his younger brother who he lost as a child, so he raises the amnesiac Alex as a Frumentarri named 'Alerio' (actual ingame character) and he now fights to purify the Mojave with the blood of Profligates. David Chase (the descendant of General Constantine Chase) was known as the Lone Wanderer until the attack on the purifier failed when the Enclave used their sattellite weapon early and destroyed Liberty Prime right after the purifier had been activated, allowing the Enclave to retake the purifier after David turned it on, forcing him to regroup with his allies who boarded vertibirds to link up with the Mojave Chapter, except David's vertibird was shot down over the Big Empty, and he was the only one who escaped the lobotomy process when he broke out of Y-17, and then acquired the Stealth Suit Mk2 to sustain his body which had been ravaged by the purifier's radiation, and the Hazmat mask to allow himself to see in the dark, giving him the edge he needed to track down the members of the think tank who had inserted their brains into the bodies of his comrades while putting the original brains in medigel tanks.

I love all of these backstories especially the first one. That's pretty creative making him the Lone Wanderer. I mean we don't know much about the Courer so who's to say they arn't the same person? Honetly my character is a goodie two shoes who will side with the NCR in the end. Although I think I am going to try out all the companions at some point.

The Lonesome Road DLC should provide a more proper background for the courier when it come out, but doesen't really matter it's your character, so you make the decisions on who he/she is! ^^

Yeah I guess it is. Despite being good I have made some interesting choices like being on the good side of both the Great Khans and helping them and helping the NCR.

To be honest my mind has often wandered towards Yes Man but NCR I dunno I just like them.

Courier one, Marcus, looks like the guys I normally make on my playthroughs, but the difference is that my dude is called: Casey, he is with the NCR, and he's Asian. Oh, and helmets and sunglasses. I make him wear those. All the time.

the first one is good but if you have the 'lady killer' perk then that means not only did the Lone Wanderer go to Mojave but he also stayed in Montana and the NCR.

Could be true though with lady killer perk its said he may have a kid there also whos 17 which does not go along with my first couriers age. But it could work on courier 3 due to living NCR lands and change the kids age a bit, thank you for pointing out.

well you can change the courier's age which is the best part of the game.
Also I completed it, made the NCR and BOS be allies but the BOS didnt take Helios one strangely. (I didnt coup de'tat the BOS leadership for some paladin and I became one :3)
I killed the Legate and threw General Oliver off of the dam. I also made the 3 families subert to my will, and made mr House live but he has no control. To watch him suffer.

i fixed ronda and allowed Tabitha to leave, and fixed the Nightkins disease without paining Lily by telling Doctor Henry (who would later suppot me as the Envlace renement) to use a nightkinbrain as a test.

Marcus wouldn't want any attention to the Super Mutants. But what I'm pissed is that he's no longer a companion like Fallout 2. (He was a mayor of that city too.)
I'm kinda troubled by my ending anyway. (Though reloaded added some mods and continued.)
Though basically; trained misfits, Ranger chief gets to be a senator, fiends die, Majove is an independent republic with little chaos in new vegas due to the securtion amy, the legate and ceaser are dead, oliver lee was thrown off the dam, EDE was my loyal partner, lily continued half dosses, Rex got lupas brain, veronica joined followers of apocolypse, Boomers defend their territory and have a big bomber, the Brotherhood did not take Helios one, and etc.

Well I got some similarity with your ending but I'm going to do one last playthrough with everything done with dlc like I did with fallout 3 so I know then on what I want to finish with but damn the time it takes to get new stuff for the game, because i've only got for ps3.
